It's another election year and as usual the canidates are tearing each other, their parties,and in a way our nation apart.
Let's here your comments/ideas for who would be the best presidential canidate from each party and why. Also, not everyone's ideal candidate will get the nomination so give me your best guess for who you believe will get the nomination whether they should or shouldn't and why you think it will turn out that way.
As for me:
Obviously President Obama is going to get the Democratic nomination, nothing more to say there.
I believe that Romney is the best and most likely candidate to get the Republican nomination. I think he is the best suited for the economy and the least likely to be a puppet. ( I can honestly say that my backing of Romney has nothing to do with religion. I was skeptical of him at first.)
If Romney can't get it then Paul would be my second choice but I know that would be a very long shot!
I can't stand Gingrich! I think he is a joke and doesn't stand a chance against Obama based on his values and integrity issues. Plus, I don't have a burning desire to live on the moon ;)
Santorum scares me. I think he is a bit naive on what it's going to take to be a president of this great nation.
Remember to play nice and no attacking! We can be mature adults having a mature political conversation without hurting feelings or tearing each other down :)
That said, let the blood bath begin!!
