It's past time to mind our own business

I'm miffed that we are getting involved with the Ukraine and Russia conflict! It is none of our business and we need to stay out of it. I'm ticked that secretary Kerry is going to offer $1 billion dollars in aid?! Where did that money come from? Last I checked we were trillions of dollars in debt and were trying to cut billions of dollars from our budget. How do we suddenly have $1 billion lying around?

While I'm at it; we need to stop getting involved with other countries conflicts. It is their problem and we don't do ourselves many, if any, favors by jumping in. I feel like we come in and start to bully sides to our advantage and we really just need to stay home minding our p's and q's.

That said it's time to bring our boys and girls back home. Even if it means destabilization of another country. I feel bad because we most likely added significantly to the destabilization but we truly don't belong there.

These nations have existed for thousands of years, long before the US, they have had conflicts and wars etc and have either fallen or conquered without us. They are "big kids" they do not need some pimpled faced adolescent country telling/forcing them to live a certain way.

It is sad to see what they are doing to themselves but perhaps that's what needs to happen in order for them to make the necessary changes.
